Meghan's practice focuses on the firm's health care clients and encompasses all aspects of health law. She has worked with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, continuing care retirement communities, and other senior care and housing providers, advising them on a broad range of issues such as licensing, reimbursement, and scope of practice questions. Meghan has significant experience handling transactional matters, particularly for the firm's senior care clients, and regularly prepares resident admission agreements to ensure compliance with state-specific statutes and regulations. She also has a background in corporate and tax law, having assisted with a number of incorporations and having prepared multiple tax exemption applications for nonprofit clients.
Prior to joining Hanson Bridgett, Meghan worked as a law clerk for the International Network for Environmental Compliance and Enforcement, where she researched numerous issues in environmental law that affected public health. While in law school, Meghan worked as a research assistant and as a clinical student at the Mills Environmental Law Clinic.
