Lara A. Carney is an associate in Hanson Bridgett's Health Care Section and is based in San Francisco. Lara's practice covers a range of health care law, from hospital and medical staff issues to senior housing and long-term care. In particular, she specializes in advising hospitals, medical staffs, physicians, medical staff services professionals, and ambulatory surgery centers regarding credentialing, peer review, quality assurance, and risk management.

Prior to joining Hanson Bridgett, Lara worked with a variety of health care facilities and corporations, gaining insight into many of the issues she now handles legally. Through coursework and internships related to her Masters in Public Health, she also studied the health care system from both an economic and policy perspective. Lara is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
